Expressions, personalities, and unexpected moments that reveal the individuality behind these remarkable animals.
Lanterns & Flashlights

A Closer Look at the Familiar
Every subject has a character worth discovering. Sometimes it’s found in the curious expression of a bear, other times in the worn surfaces of an antique lantern or the thoughtful design of an everyday object.
My paintings explore those details, finding personality, beauty, and meaning in subjects that spark curiosity. Each collection follows a different interest, but the intention remains the same: to create something that feels like more than a representation of the original subject.
Behind the Paintings
A lifelong interest in art, design, and the things that make everyday subjects interesting has shaped my creative work. After more than two decades working professionally in design and marketing, returning to painting has offered a renewed opportunity to explore subjects that fascinate me, experiment with materials, and enjoy the physical process of making art.
